Lanterns on the Moon River

Description

A full moon rests above a three-arched bridge while dozens of lanterns move slowly along the reflective river. Lotus blossoms, rocky banks, dark trees, and distant mountains keep the scene grounded even as the lights seem almost weightless. Its quieter wonder is created through many small gestures rather than one dramatic event. Each lantern could represent a wish, a remembrance, or simply a shared evening tradition. Their meaning is never fixed, which allows the river to become personal. What remains constant is the gentle procession-separate lights traveling together, passing under something built long before them and continuing toward whatever waits beyond the bend.
