Description

A fox rarely offers a long audience. Here, the face is held inside a wreath of vines, leaves, berries, and pine cones, giving the brief encounter the permanence of a crest. The design preserves the animal’s most compelling quality: intelligence balanced with caution. The expression can seem playful, calculating, or simply alert depending on what the viewer brings to it. Distant conifers keep the portrait connected to its habitat while the braided greenery adds warmth around the sharp features. The result is not a tame woodland mascot. It is a visitor who has paused at the edge of the forest, decided you are worth one look, and may disappear at any moment.
