The Rose Kept Apart
$12.00
The rose remains flawless beneath glass, protected from time and separated from every hand that might have held it.
Description
A single rose stands beneath a glass dome on an ornate pedestal, framed by a pointed arch and two candelabras. The setting treats the flower like a sacred relic, but the empty space around it gives preservation a cost. The glass keeps the rose safe, but it also makes closeness impossible. The bloom is safe from touch, weather, and time, yet it has also been removed from the life that gave it meaning. It can recall a promise or memory protected so fiercely that it no longer has room to breathe. Its beauty is undeniable. So is the distance created by the glass.
