The Woodland Offering

Description

The woman does not appear surprised by the animals gathered near her or the castle resting beyond the trees. She holds the round light as though this meeting was expected. A stag watches from one side, a rabbit settles close to her skirt, and the arching woodland makes the gathering feel like a private sanctuary. Nothing in the gathering needs explanation; the trust between woman, animals, and woodland is enough. The orb could be a gift, a promise, or a light carried home. What matters is the sense of trust surrounding it. The meeting clearly began before we arrived, and its quiet trust makes gentleness feel like its own form of magic.
