Homestead at Sunrise

Description

Homestead sits at the meeting point of farmland, neighborhoods, and the long road south. This medallion places a clock-towered building beneath a sunrise while palms, fruit, tools, and the phrase “Gateway to the Keys” surround it. The details reflect a city known both for what it grows and for where it leads. The image honors a place often experienced in motion-on the way to work, home, the farms, the Everglades, or the islands beyond. For those who know it, the name carries family histories and rapid change. For others, it marks the moment South Florida opens into a different landscape and the journey begins to feel farther from the city.
