Description

Fortress of the Sun captures a massive stone fortress perched atop a rugged mountain under a radiant sunburst sky, enclosed in an ornate vintage frame. The piece is enclosed within a thin, ornate white frame with elegant decorative flourishes at the corners and midpoints, set against a solid black outer margin. At the center is a massive stone fortress or castle with high walls and cylindrical towers, defiantly perched on the summit of a steep, rugged mountain peak. From behind the left side of the fortress, intense, straight rays of light burst upward and outward across the sky, creating a powerful, radiant sunburst effect. To the right, soft, stylized clouds drift over a sequence of distant, fading mountain ridges.
