Description

The Fishermen’s Dawn brings together two fishermen hauling in their catch. Standing in the shallow surf of a tropical shore, the two men wear wide-brimmed hats and pull a heavy net filled with fish toward a small wooden rowboat. Beyond the main subject, a dramatic sun rises or sets on the horizon, casting prominent rays of light through a cloudy sky where several birds soar. The left background features a coastline with towering palm trees and a thatched stilt house.
