Description

Centered within a square field, a high-contrast circular medallion presents a stylized coastal vista rendered in a crisp engraving style. The focal point is a framed shield at center containing a long-legged wading bird standing on an arched bridge above horizontal water lines; a low sun on the horizon sends straight radial rays upward that visually highlight a flying gull silhouette positioned between the shield and the upper banner.

Flanking the shield are two vertically oriented palm trees with textured trunks and finely stroked fronds, rising from dense shrub or mangrove masses near the circle’s lower arc. Decorative hibiscus-like flower clusters sit in the near foreground at the lower-left and lower-right, partially overlapping a broad curved ribbon that reads THE VILLAGE BY THE BAY; a smaller ribbon below the shield bears EST. 2005.
