Vigil at the Water’s Edge

Description

A figure stands on the balcony of a tall stone tower while long, glowing hair spills down the wall toward the rocky ground. A crescent moon sends beams through the mist, and a distant castle and conifers recede into the night. Waiting becomes visible through the impossible length of that bright strand. It may be a signal, escape route, memory, or the only connection between the watcher and the world below. The tower offers safety and isolation in equal measure.
